Frequently asked questions

Quick guidance about traffic tickets, payment dates, court dates and access to the Traffic Ticket Management System.

Read the ticket carefully and verify the ticket number, offence, fine, payment date and any court date. Follow the instructions on the ticket before the applicable deadline.
Use an authorized payment location or payment method identified by the Royal Police Force, the court or the instructions on your ticket. Keep your official receipt. Online payment should not be assumed unless TTMS specifically makes that service available.
Contact the Traffic Department or the relevant court as soon as possible. A missed payment deadline may result in additional enforcement or court action depending on the ticket and applicable law.
Do not ignore it. Contact the relevant court or Traffic Department promptly for guidance on the next required step.
Contact the Traffic Department or a police station with enough identification and vehicle information for authorized personnel to locate the record.
A traffic ticket may be dealt with through the court process where applicable. Follow the instructions printed on the ticket and obtain official guidance before the stated court date.
Operational access is restricted to authorized users. Account permissions determine which TTMS functions and records a user can access.
